So we won a few medals! It's the inaugral year of the Royal Adelaide Coffee Show and White Horse Coffee was excited to get amongst the action! Sadly, we didn't pick up a gold medal, but we're very pleased to take home two silver and five bronze medals across five different roasting categories! Not a bad haul. Results as follows:
Espresso Single Origin - Ethiopia Tarkegn Gutu - BRONZE
Latte Imported Blend - Organic Blend - BRONZE
Plunger SIngle Origin - Ethiopia Targekn Gutu - SILVER
Plunger Imported Blend - End of the Line - BRONZE
Piccolo Imported Blend - Organic Blend - SILVER
Piccolo Imported Blend - End of the Line - BRONZE
Piccolo Imported Blend - White Knight - BRONZE
Notable medals were for our Ethiopian Tarkegn Gutu and our Organic Blend.
Our Head Roaster, Brian, was delighted with the performance:
'I feel humbled by the results. The Adelaide Show had a focus on Organic coffee and we think ours is pretty good! The results say other people think that too!'
'It's good feedback from an independent panel. Great to test our stuff in the market and see how other roasters performed'.
At White Horse Coffee we showcase a range of new Single Origin coffees every month. You can keep up to date with our range by joining our mailing list, via our website or follow along with our shenanigans on our instagram page.
Giddy up!
