We hope you enjoy the highlights from our time at the 2018 Melbourne Coffee International Expo along with a few photos from some of Melbourne's finest coffee traps we visited along the way.
When in Melbourne don't miss this place. The coffee and food is world class. We'd fly to Melbourne just to visit Seven Seeds.
We drank a lot of delicious coffee at Wide Open Road. The staff were informative and generous, and the food was great.
Walking down Little William St to Patricia's, definitely one of our favourite places.
A bucket of Ice Cold Filter Brews at the entrance to Patricia's. These guys are classy!
Did we say Patricia Coffee Brewers have scrumptious pastries! Yeah they do!
Code Black Coffee's set up is sleek and very black!
Code Black gave us some love.
These guys are dedicated and super focussed on specialty coffee.
Acoffee is a colab between the guys at Bench and Byoung-Woo Kang from Acoffee Roasters. It's paired back, simple and pretty special.
This guy nailed it.
Great coffee, great staff and great shelves at Padre.
Padre know how to set up a retail section!
We learnt a lot, met some wonderful people and drank a lot of special coffee. Thanks to all who were involved in MICE, the organisers, the exhibitors, the public. It's been fun! Until next time.
The best things about MICE
From our point of view the two best things about MICE 2018 were the coffee and the people. The coffee speaks for itself. When you have an exhibition hall jam-packed with passionate and incredibly talented farmers and baristas, you're bound to get some of the best coffee imaginable. And MICE 2018 did not disappoint. But the more impacting aspect were the people. MICE was overflowing with generous, passionate, clever and innovative people. From what we saw and experienced, the future of specialty coffee in this country and beyond will be amazing. And that's great news for us all.A few snaps from MICE 2018
All set up and ready to serve the coffee lovers of Melbourne.
Our staff were incredible! They smiled all day and brewed their hearts out. We're proud and full of appreciation!
We also exhibited the new ACME & Co Evolution range.
Our humble, born and bred shire brand mixing it up with the big guys!
We had some great feedback throughout the event. People enjoyed our coffee and loved our brand. Happy days!
