Brazil Santa Clara is a third-generation family farm located in the lush Mantiqueira de Minas region. Moacyr and Alayde Pereira, along with their children – Fernando, Carlos, Henrique and Eduardo e Luciana live and work on the farm. Their four children are also married with children, and so the family tradition continues into the next generation. The altitude, climate and rich volcanic soil are ideal conditions for growing amazing Brazilian coffee. The first coffee trees were planted on the farm by their great grandparents in the early 1900s and continue to produce quality coffee cherries today. This Yellow Catuai lot has gone through a natural process, where after harvesting the coffee cherry is laid to dry in the sun on concrete patios.
